Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any good or a waste of money. I just bought a tub for £10.99. Bloke in shop swears by it on his own skis.

garethjomo, I definitely found it a good top up when I used it after each days skiing. Seemed to prolong the effectiveness of the normal wax and made the skis much slippier

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Love it; have a "workshop" pack; but I do ski on plastic most of the time....

garethjomo, I love the stuff... I actually use it under the wax for the base prep when waxing. But putting it on every day after skiing protects the edges from rust and really seems to make your wax last longer. Also... compared with my mates skis mine always carry much more speed on the flats... and I'm talking a large amount. I use Zardoz, they do not. i overtake them... they end up poling Laughing

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The waxing trick was developed by racers. When your bases are dry use Zardoz on them before the first coat of wax... it seems to impregnate the bases and then mix with the wax.

Called the Felix process. Used it before and it's fantastic (but you need to use a fair bit of Zardoz). About to do my Tornado's before I go away in March.

Anyone know how the Zardoz one compares to the same type of stuff that Toko do?

It works for me. Like others I seem to glide faster than most and I put it on every evening or two.
