We had lessons with easkiski just before, and she mentioned she was looking forward to your visit. I thought then that if Euan got to like ski-ing, it could be a wonderful activity for someone with autism, as it is such a great way of expressing yourself. Also the sort of activity that you can enjoy alongside others, even if you can't communicate very well (as I know all too well having skied with French groups with limited French). Fantastic to hear that it was so successful.

brian, thanks for the kind words, and I'll get to look at the pix later - of course I saw some on your camera. I should say everyone that Euan really wasn't very difficult, had good balance and co-ordination, and so it was really a pleasure teaching him - he just took to it and ran!

brian, Finally got organised to look at the photos - great! I particularly like the one in the Place de Venosc after the meal - euan's expression is classic!

Nice pics, Brian. We too went to LDA last month for our first "non beach" summer holiday. The kids all enjoyed the bungy trampoline near the bottom of the Jandri. The afternoon we went to the toboggan run, I think there were more adults than kids on it. I managed to get my 5 yr old on skis for the first time and down the glacier, albeit between my legs. Great holiday and now looking for an apartment there for over Christmas

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Markw, Check out my "Easiski specials" page. Several apartments on there which are pretty nice. I think Paul McKinnell's one is rented for Xmas, but I'm not 100% sure.

Chris Reed, 7 and 4. The wee one only lasted for short spells but they're both keen to go again.
