Kids need lessons when we are in Samoens next half term, so as I thought it would be very busy have already looked to book. Zig Zag has got some good comments but are not replying to emails even though the website says they would from 15th July.
Any one know of them and have any ideas when they might reply?
or should I look elswhere?

chrisb, Do a search, several  were on a course they ran in Tignes last autumn, I skied with Jenny a few years ago.
My reading of the website is that their office won't be open until October.

chrisb, Used ZigZag a number of times. They are excellent I would stick with them.
I did find them a bit slow on replies this time last year but in the end everything was sorted in good time and the lessons were superb.

they got in touch, asked for my details which I emailed straight away and then I have heard nothing in 3 weeks sadly. Not the best admin then

chrisb, I had the same problem with ZigZag last year. I heard great reports about them on here but had the same issue as you tying to get through to them. They did eventually get back to me to say they would not be running kids group lessons during the week we were there (out of school holidays) but could offer me extremely expensive private lessons for them. We ended up using a private ESF instructor who was fantastic and a fraction of the cost

Skimummy, Thanks, I was beginning to wonder if it was just me. We are going at half term so hopefully they will be running a class or two and give us a chance to book. Otherwise I suppose the next option is 360 international. We have used ESF in the past but the classes are too big and the instructors can be a bit of a lottery. My youngest was in an excellent ESF class in Les Carroz a couple of years ago but my eldest did not have such a great time in La Tanis the following year.

Sorry guys, we're a small business struggling to keep up with a huge demand. Other full time jobs in the summer season mean that our responses prior to October/November can be pretty slow in coming and we know our customers are frustrated when they want to book early to ensure they have places with us. The quality of our work on the mountain has always been first priority, so admin has sometimes fallen by the wayside. It's something we're trying to improve upon; hence the big reservation system upgrade that's underway right now.

chrisb, Hello chrisB-hope you have your lessons sorted now and they are with ZigZag. Just joined so I could add how wonderful they were/are. We were lucky enough to spend a month in Samoens (January 2011) and used them for my little girl and an adult friend. Small groups, excellent guys and we had experience of 5 instructors-all of them wonderful. Turned my little, shy 4 year old girl into a skier and had great fun along the way. Actually, it was the fun part we were looking for, with empathetic instructors-Zig Zag have it in spades.
