Poster: A snowHead
|
Someone, at some point, posted a link to the leather gloves that lifties and French ski instructors use.
They're yellowy leather gloves, fleece lined I think.
Anyone either point me in the right direction or post a link to the store?
Are they actually any good? Been thinking about getting something less extreme than my mitts with liners, my hands just got too hot on various runs last week.
TIA.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ooooh, yes we do. Any idea what I'm looking for, a name for them? Or should I just go in and ask them for the leather fleecy gloves they do

I was issued a pair this season. Warm, v good for general outdoor stuff (car washing, putting on chains etc), don't use them for skiing.

Lizzard, Does that mean you don't use them for skiing, or don't use them for skiing, if you get what I mean ...

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

FranzKlammer, both. The wind howls through the seams and freezes your fingers.

Thanks Lizzard, but at the price on Snowshepherd think I'll get a pair as scraping the frost off the car gloves, don't need more ski gloves anyway given the great job my Hestras do!
