Poster: A snowHead

We have one place left (male) for a self catered Chalet in Verbier 29th Jan for a week. Sharing with 2 other blokes in a triple room.
The chalet is: http://www.verbierlocation.ch/en/rental/apartment/le-dahu-haut?cyid=1&lid=1&sid=1
The chalet is located about 100m above the Medran lift and is ski in/out, there are 12 other people, all friends or friends of friends aged 30 to 60 male/female mix. Skiing levels from expert/off piste to novice.
We will be cooking great food between us each evening as we are all food lovers (maybe one night out in a posh restaurant) but obviously you can do your own thing and don't have to join in.
Cost is £260 accom + tourist tax. If you want to join in food/wine/log fire etc then add another £60 to bung in the kitty.
This is a great price for ski in/ ski out accommodation in Verbier.

jzBun, Dahu is a cute place and in a great location, ski in / out might be a little romantic though. Just so you know. Crazy cheap price for Verbier though! Tourist tax should only run to 35chf, unless they've hiked it in the last year...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I haven't stayed but I know the chalet. I don't know if No 1 still hires out lockers but it might be worth it as it's just at the bottom of a steep hill - I think the hill qualifies it as ski in / out but depending on conditions it can get a little sketchy.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

parlor From the photo's you can see that you're right next to the lift so I'm assuming that it's fairly straightforward to ski down to Medran/back to, the chalet.

jzBun, I think there are some newer chalets / construction that don't make it the easiest ski in the world. At the last bend above Medran you ski off down a road called "Rue de Scex" or something like that, follow the road down the hill by skiing on the left side of the road. After that bit you'll have to find your own way, shouldn't be too hard.
Sorry if I appear to have poured cold water on your post!
Still a super deal for Verbier in a great location! To the top ^.

Hi jzBun,
Looking to get away next week and this looks interesting. I'm 50 male, looking to join a group rather than just a room to sleep so kitty idea sounds great.
How are people travelling?

stuart palmer, Hi Stuart. All are flying into Geneva at various times from around the UK and making their way to Verbier independently. I'll PM you more details.
