Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Two snowboarders, beginner - intermidate looking for a few days away. We've seen a great deal to Seefield in Tirol in Austria, has anyone been here? What's the resort like?
Thanks

Piste wise there is not a lot of kilometres and split on mainly two mountains but if you are beginner intermediate I am sure there is enough piste for a short break. The town itself is very nice with plenty to do, lots of bars and also a casino. The apres scene is good but more timid than the lot of Austrian resorts. If the deal involves fllights to innsbruck thats another bonus as the transfer is about 30 minutes
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Agree with
Richiavo
, it's quite small, but big enough for a few days for a beginner.
We found the town quite small and quiet, although full of non-skiers and their fur coats.

Was there this morning
The piste map is a bit misleading - what appears to be several pistes on each of the two hills is actually one wide one
Rosshutte (municipally owned) appears to have had a lot of money spent on it recently (big car park, furnicular, cable car, floodlighting etc) but is still a bit of a mish mash
Geshwandkopf (privately owned but same pass, in need of a bit of investment) is a better, if lower, hill
Overall a well heeled town, big hotels, spread out, very little apres action and very limited piste wise
Enough for a few days. Didnt see many boarders though
Best of all is teh very short ransfer from Innsbruck, barely 40 mins
