Hey, just bought a new bike, was wondering if I should remove the saddle and take it upto my house for a few hours and sit on it while I do the ironing?

Idiot. This advice is only for people who don't live in a Velodrome. I have seen your apartment on Facebook, you live in a Velodrome and therefore don't need to sit on your saddle.
