Hiya,
Anyone knows of a good ski school in les deux alpes for beginner private lessons?
Thanks

As the BBC would say "There are other ski schools in Les Deux Alpes, blah blah blah......" But having used Charlotte several times for my daughter and myself I would recommend Easiski too.

Just had a week with Easiski in L2A, thanks to recommendations here. She was great! Diagnosed our problems and set about undoing many years of bad technique! OH and I feel we have made progress for the first time in years!

I went to L2A last July and had lessons from Charlotte and can recommend her. She knows her stuff and has a eagle eye for spotting what you're doing wrong and gives some great advice on how to correct your technique.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

pam w, thanks - my sister's on her way out there now. I've given her Charlottes number. Snow looks a bit grim though I looked last night at the forecast and there was snow due tonight. Fingers crossed.

Shimmy Alcott, She'll be all right there. Lots of decent skiing above 2600m and even 3200m. Bound to get some decent snow. I was there in January 2007 when snow was really poor everywhere. It was still half decent there and they were coaching people in from all over the place,

Colin B, fingers crossed. She's not been skiing long as is a bit of a wimp so she'll stay low. 18cm due by tomorrow though, so jealous

not such a good idea in LDA - and there are very easy slopes up the top. Be great if she could be in touch with Charlotte. If charlotte is booked up she'll be able to recommend someone good. It's so much more exhilarating to be up the top - stupendous views. If she just sloshes round the bottom nursery slopes she'll get very fed up. But without an instructor that's always the temptation.

Shimmy Alcott, you can go up in the Jandri Express. The lowest slopes might be pretty grotty till there's more snow and lower temperatures - really got to get up that mountain.
