Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Easter recommendations

With Easter being late this year what resorts would snowheads recommend for April 16th for a week? I know VT, L2A, Tignes would all be suitable but can anyone think of any others?

It depends if you are willing to wait for a late booking? Or are you looking to book now? We are going to VT this year but in the past have waited until a week or two before. A lot of the resorts over 1500m can still be in good condition all through April. We've been to Avoriaz and St Sorlin D'Arves in April as well as the three resorts you've mentioned above.

Interested in this too TotallyBoard,

We did Andorra last Easter, and had a great trip, although it got a tad lumpy/slushy later in the afternoon some days. With Easter being a bit later this year it seems none of the tour operators are going, and I can't be asked to try and sort out a DIY there with such a long transfer.

I've had an eye on Avoriaz and La Plagne which according to Iglu have good snow depth records for April. We've only just come back from L2A so want to go somewhere different.

Anyone know which Italian resorts are open later and historically have good April skiing? Never been to Italy skiing before and quite fancy it.
