Poster: A snowHead

Trying to organise a trip with some old uni mates but one of them has work that means he has to take his holidays during the school hols. Are there any resorts that don't get ridiculously expensive/busy at half term or should we just kick him off our trip?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

el nombre, pleasantly surprised to find Champoluc virtually empty at half term last year. Would imagine that many lesser known Italian resorts are similar...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Is that next to Gressoney? The name sounds familiar. Skied Gressoney last year and although I think it would be really fun if there was a lot of pow around, it got pretty boring pretty quickly when the off piste wasn't worth skiing. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Went to Courmayeur at half-term this year and it was fairly quiet as was LaTuile on the day we went there.

I was just going to suggest La Thuile. Although I was there in March, not school holidays, the size of the ski area versus the number of accommodation beds in the village suggests to me that this is one resort that won't ever get ridiculously busy.
