New snow overnight and still going c.6" at base (looking at my balcony) and I guess 10-12"+ up top after 18 hrs of rain yestd. Hooray !!!!! but they're not going to open the mountain today because of "unseasonable" weather low viz and high winds - BBBooooooooo. OK so with such a soggy snow pack it's gonna take a while to stabilise it but how unseasonable can snow be in a ski resort? The man giveth and he taketh away - still not bad for May. There now seems to be a mild push or them to open resort for 1 day special on 4th July, I'll be long gone.

And just started again 16th May, this is getting silly I've only a few days left and want to get out and enjoy the mountain and then chill out by the pool in the arvo's. Currently temp 1C and snowing at 6200ft, think I'll give the pool a miss.

Lovely day but spent it riding after slightly late (10.00) start due to interference of alcohol the previous night, did get some rays out on my deck though which was nice, although I brought swimmers never actually got round (braced myself) to going in the pool/hot tub. Oh well I think I'll live the whole thing was more for my bro's benefit in case he got fed up skiing anyway.

I'm getting fed up of the snow - Squaw will finally close on Monday 30th May - having been open for 7 months! My last day teaching will be Saturday, and I'm hoping no one wants lessons since the snow has finally packed down - I want to ski!

It snowed another 3 inches last night - but the resort closed last MOnday (May 30th). Everyone is really fed up of winter - it's time for some good weather to sit and drink by the lake!
