Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Hi All,
I'm looking at a place in Flaine Forum, but from what I've read, most of the apres ski (to the extent it exists in Flaine) is in Flaine Foret. Are the two lifts that link the two parts (Pre & Telebenne) open in the evening as well, or is it Shanks' pony there and a sledge ride home of an evening?
thanks!

Yes there are 2 lifts (people not ski) that operate 24hrs a day.... IIRC there's also stairs running outside of the lifts.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, there are two funicular lifts that transport people from Forum to/from Foret. Whenever we have been there, only one has worked at a time and you might have to hang around waiting longer late evening. There is a path option but it is steep and obviously tricky in snow/ice. Good for quads on the way up but not a path I would want to go down apres ski

There's apres ski in Flaine foret? We never found any worth talking about.
The pub in Forum seemed the liveliest. Cant remember the name (could be the White pub or something similar.)
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

, there is certainly 'apres' of some dubious origin in Foret, in the bowels of P&V Residence, can't quite remember the name of the club although the name that I gave it comes to mind
