robin.gray, Very nice town with friendly apres and good local beer, big well linked area and taxis are cheap to get back from whichever bar you fall over in at the end of the day. Been once and would (will) go again.

Great Resort.It has lovely long tree lined runs from top to bottom on 4 linked mountains.Most of the runs are red with a few blues but not may blacks.There is a nice atmosphere in the town and prices are a lot lower than most other big resorts.It has some great mountain restaurants .Everyone gathers at the end of the day for apres in the Hone Haus Tenne at the base of the Planai.
All the chairs and lifts are very modern and fast.
We were there for the week of the Night Race and was the best atmosphere i have seen for a sporting event.

Agree with Chick. I was there for race night two years ago and it was amazing. But even for the rest of the week the resort was fab with great skiing on snow sure slopes.
When are you looking at going? The race night is the 3rd Tuesday in January i believe so if you could time in with that then you've got a right bargain!

Agree with JamesIE, was there last year for Night Race and the whole area was great,even better if you can get outside the main areas,deserted stuff great to play around in slope-side-almost- untracked powder.Just try to ensure you're not uphill on the far side of town as its a bit of a trek after playtime if you miss the bus,but you have to weigh this up against the price you're paying - enjoy.
