Hi all, our flight from Birmingham gets into Geneva around 10am on Saturday 8th January, just wonder if anyone knows whether the coach has to wait for other flights to come in and how long it then takes to get to the cable car at Lauterbrunnen?
We have travelled from Berne airport in the past and also from Geneva by train so this is completely different. Just thought that if the coach had to wait for other travellers we might have time to "nip" to the supermarket by the train station in the airport, especially if its gonna be a long bus ride!
We are travelling with Inghams.

The coach is just for your flight and the transfer time will be approx 5:30mins depending on traffic etc....why didnt you take the train t/fer option or the option to fly into Berne with Inghams !!!!

Hi Chris,
there was no option for the train transfer and the Berne flights were all full, the only saving grace for the Geneva flighta are that they leave Birmingham at 09.30, meaning we can get there at a reasonable time and the return leaves Geneva at 17.55 so same on the return journey.
I didn't think the transfer would take that long? Was just concerned about the wait in the car park for other flights arriving before we left for resort?
Never mind, all booked now and very excited.

In the Inghams brochure (page 240,bottom left) it states the t/fer time is 4hrs from Geneva to Murren but in previous years that trip has taken upto 5:30hrs due unforeseen factors. The supplement price for going via rail instead of the 200km coach journey is £31 per person.
Have a fantastic time in Murren !!!
