We're flying from Gatwick early on Boxing Day so driving is the only logical logistical option but the car park charges are about double what (I think) I remember paying last year.
Do they charge a premium for bank holiday parking?
Are there any discount codes or other saving schemes available?
I know I'll have to pay, but if I can save a few pounds it'll mean I can have another half of lager in Courchevel.

Sometimes it works out cheaper to stay at a local hotel or B&B the night before and pay them to park there (and even shuttle you to and from the airport).

Purple parking just quoted me £50 for a week starting boxing day. A week starting 30th Jan comes in at aroung 10% less. So yes they may charge a little extra, but that could just be down to demand.
I don't notice any big difference from last year.

We used Gatwick Airport parking on Lowfield Heath Rd last January.
Arrived back to a comple chaos of a company trying to find cars, people waiting for 2-3 hours (there had been heavy snow all week)
Once lady nearly drove off with about 5 sets of keys that had been left on her passenger seat.
I'll never use this type of service (drop your car with them to park) again.
