I used to put on ABBA and dance around my living room. Must do that again--glad deerman, reminded me!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

When you look at the waistlines of the Strictly celebs. I strongly believe that you can dance yourself fit!!

Megamum, I very much doubt that those people do any other type of exercise.

I do swing jive which keeps me fit. You certainly know when you have been doing that all night. It is good for timing and improving balance.

Interesting that this subject came up again today:
I discovered "Movement Medicine" --a dance class where you just dance --as fast or slow , as much or as little as you feel inclined to -- but the music inspires one to be quite energetic!
Caroline Carey's dance session for 2 hours on Tuesday evening at Hampstead Town Hall 7 to 9pm
-- she functions in Brighton also.
I've been for two sessions before Christmas --it was amazing!
Am definitely going tomorrow -- it is just what's needed for mind AND body-- next best thing to ski n'snow!
--will post the link--
