Hi Flynn.
I would recommend you find yourself a good physiotherapist who should definatly be able to help you

Yep - go to the physio. I agree it's likely in your back. I have spinal arthritis and had severe episode of trapped nerve(s) this summer to the point I couldn't walk and had a large area of numbness in my leg. Exercises from physio, anti-inflammatories/pain relief from GP and time have largely resolved it.

I can't watch the above videos now as I'm at work but I'm a physiotherapist and would recommend getting assessed properly before starting any specific exercises / movements that might have helped other peoples back problems as some could really aggrevate your injury.
Not that I'm going to try to diagnose a back problem over the internet but I may be able to point you in the right direction if you could answer the following:
How long have you had the pain?
Do you remember doing anything that caused it? A certain activity or movement?
Do you have pain all the time, even at rest?
Is there a certain position that eases it? Better lying / sitting / standing / walking?
Any pins or needles in your back or legs or any numbness anywhere?
The pain that goes down your leg, does it go down the back of your leg or the front? Does it go into your foot, if so which toes?

Second finding a good physio and getting properly assessed...
I spent 3 months with some irish physio only getting worse... flew back to Oz and booked an appointment with the local guy - 3 appointments in a week and all pain gone and I had a heap of exercises to keep it at bay... Why the difference - he tells me my nerve configuration is a little unusual and she was assuming from the pain that the location of the problem was in a different location than it actually was...
