Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ladies skis & boots for beginner/intermediate

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I've been tasked with buying some ski equipment for my partner and came across a Head bundle deal with Head "First One" Skis (2011), Head LR 9 Bindings, Head Edge 8.5w boots, plus poles and bag for £300.

She's been skiing once before (last year) and seemed to take to it very well, parallelling all turns by the end (except when stressed!) and we are planning 2 trips this season. Has anybody any experience of these skis/boots, and do you think this is a good/worthwhile deal that would do her for at least a couple years (4ish trips)? I realise it would be more cost-effective to hire but would rather not have the faff each time, and will be going by coach/car on most occasions so can save carriage.

Thanks for any help, I really want to get her a pair that will give her confidence but am afraid I'm on a fairly tight budget Embarassed

Almost forgot: She's 5'4" and 8 stone.

nothing wrong with the kit its self, but make sure the boot fits the foot..... at her height and weight i would be guessing but has she got a slim small foot, the edge is a high volume boot, if this is the case may be worth seeing if you can trade up to a better fit for her on the boot, some shops may do it others may not
