Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for some cool places to go night skiing in south Edinburgh. Obviously Hillend would be the choice, but they're closing at 4pm. Was up Craiglockhart Hill last night and it was almost bright enough, due to the cities light reflections of the clouds, to ski. The hill was ok but it was a lot of poling in places and not too much downhill skiing.

Anyone got anywhere better to go?

I'mm so tempted to take the skis in the car on friday for an evening slide

Afraid I dont have any photos - however can report Hillend is very worthy.
Best I have ever seen it....

Uber snowy.
Even a few moguls and some off piste.

They are open until 9pm every night (except sunday).
