I was fell walking in the English lake district just up the M6 from rural Lancashire and we had between 3 and approx 7 cm of fresh powder on the footpaths - great day out and gave me a very small appetiser for fresh tracks off the Gemmstock - Andermatt come early January - hoping for a minimum of 200 cm
