I've tried the flaine.com website several times over the last week and it won't load - (not a computer problem). Could someone please try it and confirm same problem (or not). Regards.

Thanks, just tried again and left it loading - took well over a minute. Server on a slow connection perhaps? I'm using a P4 laptop on wireless via virgin broadband.

It does also say: "From 17th september 2010, will line the Flaine's new site winter 2010/2011 !" [sic] so I guess you should hold on for a bit anyway....

Hi! I've had no problem. However, I am horrified that only 4/70 lifts are open and only 13/141 runs are open, when we go on 20 December! Does anyone know if this is because the Grand Massif area does not open until 18 December?

Yes, the Grand Massif link does not open until the week before xmas and that will still depend on the conditions. You will also find that unfortunately not all the Flaine runs will be open xmas week, this is normally partly due to conditions and because the resort is not that crowded. We are going yet again for xmas on the 19th

Thanks qsb - that's rather disappointing but I guess it can't be that bad or else you would not be returning 'yet again for xmas'.
