Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

carroz, Araldite isn't that expensive, why not experiment? Probably best to do outside in case of fumes. I would try red touch up paint for a car, maybe some food colouring, perhaps some poster or powder colour - I wouldn't think it will take long to find something that works.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I don't know how you would get on longevity wise, but I bet you'd get away for some time with some car touch up or a little tin of enamel painted over the araldite too, if you have to touch it up from time to time it wouldn't be a disaster would it? Maybe see what you come up with and then post back here to possibly assist others?

Yes it can.

Used to add plastic powder of the desired colour to make the desired repair.

Anything that may react is not a good idea.

can't remember what it was called (Been about 30 years) but I expect you may be able to get a resin powder from somewhere.

Pigment for gelcoat will work with araldite.
Search Ebay for 'Red Pigment For Epoxy Gelcoat'.
