Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hestra Classic Gloves Line

Does anyone have any experience of Hestra's classic line (ie the non-ski gloves)? They look very purdy, and I'm considering getting my gf a pair of either the Deerskin Lambskin mitt or the Leather Sonata Mitt for her birthday as her hands are always bloody freezing. Any thoughts? Edge and Wax sell them at £45 and £90 respectively, but said the Deer/Lambskin one doesn't have so much insulation... however for an everyday kinda glove I'm not sure how much is needed... Girls, which one's do you like best?

Sorry, got to say I've seen the Sonata ones before and I really like them, but you knew when asking which ones were prettier you would get told the more expensive ones Smile

Just checked ebay and they have them in black for £50 bargain!

Deerskin Lambskin in off-white or dark brown would be my choice. Gorgeous gloves, shes a lucky girl either way.

After subtly guiding her to the website (her birthday isn't till New Years Eve so she wasn't suspicious lol) turns out the ones she noticed were the (cheaper) Deer/lambskin, so hopefully that's a win all round!
