TWICE this last couple of weeks I have had cause to contact easyJet's so-called "Customer Service" department by telephone, and I have to say that the 5p per minute phone line is ABSURDLY reasonably priced, the response time in both cases of under 2 minutes is DISGUSTINGLY efficient, and the people I have spoken to in both cases have been NAUSEATINGLY well-informed, GROTESQUELY helpful, and HORRIFYINGLY polite.
The entire experience both times has made me SO UTTERLY delighted that I would NOT EVER hesitate to USE THEM AGAIN.

paulio,
Long time since I used them - but they were good for me, too.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Always been good to me too - best of the budgets.

Not my experience last time I used them.
It was April 2010 they were not answering the phone and when it did connect it took ages to get through the queue.
I not got a clue why it was so bad?

Dwarf Vader, ash cloud perchance?

Nadenoodlee, I expect so.
They used to have a live chat support facility as well which was excellent, the one time I had a quick query about baggage. You typed questions/conversation with them. That was in January 2010. Just looked and the facility doesn't seem to be there now though. Was free and fast!

Good to hear of a positive experience.
Paulio you don't have a relative named Stellios by any chance, do you?

wigan, et al, I ued the live chat during the ash cloud crisis, and they were very helpful. I eventually requested a refund, which they gave me, despite the flight eventually operating.

Paulio, but EJ made you happy! SC could do nothing for me.
I suppose everything is relative

The only time I want to pay to speak to someone that I am paying to provide a service is when I have cocked up your requirements.

So Paulio, did you cock up the requirements or did they cock up the service?

I phoned them up back in jan to clarify if a boot bag was included aswell as my ski bag, only took a couple of mins to get through which is far better than I expected and the person seemed well informed and told me I could take my boot bag along with my ski bag aslong as it didn't exceed 32Kg and even sent me a email to show the check in desk who normally don't have a clue.

The plane I flew on today was literally brand new. Gleaming.
My only concern was that it might never have flown before.
Best airline on god's green earth.
