I've got a problem with goggles fitting round my helmet, since I've got an XXL helmet (oo-er missus, fnarr fnarr, etc). I notice that Smith optics do a universal helmet helper which looks like just the thing. Only thing is, it doesn't look like anybody sells it in this country.
Does anybody have any ideas how to get a hold of something like this in the UK?

Lager, I don't know if it will help, but I have one of those. It came as a standard part of my Smith Goggles. I don't know if you also have Smith goggles, but if not bear in mind that it is intended for Goggles where the strap already splits at the back, and from what I see the the fitting on it would seem best designed for the Smith Goggles that it is clearly intended to go with.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I also need one of these for my new Smith goggles. Smith does 2 versions of this extension strap so they are not as universal as you think. On US sites they're about $5 but they want about $30 for shipping which is ridiculous. Actually it should be quite easy to make one of these yourself. Just need a piece of fabric/plastic which you then sew/glue to the two ends of the the goggle strap. Voila.
In case anyone knows where to get them cheap pls let me know.

My (new) goggles wouldn't go round my helmet so I got a strap off an old tatty pair which were being thrown away and transferred it onto the new goggles. Took just a few minutes. If you don't have any old goggles handy, I think most handicraft shops would sell some suitable elastic strapping and you can use the fittings, clips, etc on the existing goggles.

Hi guys, I too had trouble getting hold of one of these. Managed to find one last season from Ultra Sport Europe (UK distributer for Smith). You can call them on 01332 813150. I just gave my card details over the phone and a couple of days later it arrived in the post.
Think it was around £10-£12 inc. postage. Really does the trick with my Smith I/O's....not sure about other brands though. I don't know if you use Smith goggles but they have a kind of buckle/clasp in the middle of the elastic which you can change for the helmet helper. I've had Oakley's in the past and this wouldn't work with them!
Hope this helps!
