Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Flexmeter UK stockist

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello all - this is my first post so please be gentle with me.....I'm not asking for an opinions on whether wrist guards are good or bad (I have searched and read all those posts...crumbs!) I recently broke my wrist falling from my horse and would like to buy some flexmeters for my trip in December but I'd really like to try before I buy. Does anyone know of any UK stockists, preferably Surrey/London? Thanks in advance for your help Smile

Just make sure they don't hypnotise you into buying a Power Balence Band when you're down their warehouse.

Seriously the gloves look like a good idea, they seem a whole heep cheaper on ebay though

I like the flexmeter guards and have used then a good while for 'silly stuff' on plastic, they are a lot better and more comfy than some of the shorter more rigid guards.

I just have the guards with the palm plate I did not go for the gloves as am a sweaty urchin and need to change gloves regularly. If you do buy just the guards you will need to upsize your gloves considerably.

They do inititially feel strange and do change the way you handle your poles but you will get used to that fairly quickly.

Because im 'not as good as I think I am' I have tested them quite rigerously on both dendex and snowlflex (to the point of shredding the outer fabric) however whilst other parts of me have snapped my wrists are currently intact.

If you are boarding I would say they are a must have, skiing on snow probably not such a big issue unless you just want that comfort feeling of protecting the latest break.
