I'm thinking about a possible visit to Japan to sample some of the legendary powder. It will be my first visit and to keep things simple and as cheap as possible I'll probably be based in Niseko for all the trip rather than two or three different centres. Provisional dates are 14th-25th Feb. Anyone interested? Looking for at least one other person to share a twin room, or more than that to bring costs down a bit further.

Yeah, this season. Not exactly sure about price yet, but less than £1,700 for flights and transfer to resort, 9 nights in Niseko, and a night in Tokyo on the way back. Still looking at options so it might be cheaper than that.

OK, I'm booked to go. Flying from Heathrow on Thursday 10 Feb BA to Sapporo via Tokyo Narita, arrive Niseko on the 11th staying for 8 nights in the Sekka Annupuri Lodge. Depart Niseko on the 19th, overnighting at a hotel at Tokyo Haneda then BA flight back to Heathrow on the 20th.
Flights cost around £775, accommodation around £650 if two sharing a room, 7-day liftpass is £260ish, plus transfers to/from Niseko (around £50) and 1 night at the airport hotel (£120?).
