Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Thinking of booking one of these this winter. Particularly attracted by their slopeside access.

Anyone stayed there, or can advise any other slopeside access hotels in the resort?

Can't say anything other than we are booked into Du Golf in Jan next year!

valleyboy, du golf looks good from the outside when we have skied by. Too expensive for us though

We stayed in Portetta before it was refurnished and liked it even then. Fantastic slope access. Less pricey is the Edelweiss in the Inghams brochure. It's fine but walls a bit thin!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Just a comment re Edelweiss. It's pretty cheap for Courchevel 1650 so you get what you pay for. Didn't actually voice complaint. Life's too short!! Many like the Edelweiss. Love Courchevel 1650 btw. Great slopes...

I've only visited du Golf to see friends who were staying there, the big self catering apartments are well fitted out and roomy enough but as has been said they are expensive, even more so if you're not doing your own cooking!
Eidelweiss is only 50 metres or so from the slopes, it's perfectly adequate and a lot cheaper, they also have their own web site so you can book direct and make your own plans if the brochure arrangements don't suit.

We have just paid 1000 euros for a 6 bed self catering apartment at du golf - It was the cheapest we could find and allows you to go Sunday to Sunday too.
