Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

From perrieres lift to Les Gets bowl...

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi,

I am looking at a chalet in Les Gets for next years holiday which is attractive as you can ski from it to the Perrieres lift, however, I see that the lift terminates at the top of a red and quickly leads onto a the vorosses / renardiere blue. Some of my group are beginners, only just onto blues - is this route into the bowl fairly easy, otherwise this place won't be quite so good for them.

Thanks,

top of perrieres into the bowl?
that's an easy blue all the way iirc (not been for a few yrs) melezes has a few rather steepish bits (like the finish)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The blue from the top of the Perrieres lift down into the bowl is quite easy, and generally the Vorosses blue down to La Turche is fine. It may depend on how easy your access is to the bottom of the Perrieres lift - the Melezes run down there is one of my favourites, but the last bit down is quite steep and at times could be a bit challenging for a beginner. But hopefully you can probably get to the bottom of the lift easily.
Blowing snow on the piste over there again tonight.
