Hi all
Heading out to Morzine in a few weeks for one of these 3 night packages. We get 3.5 days skiing so I guess this means we buy a 2 day, a 1 day and a 5 hour pass.
We (me and better half) are intermediate on piste skiers who like scenery and practicing technique on wide quiet pistes.
I'm thinking we will probably just stick to the Morzine/Les Gets passes. Is there anything we might be missing in Avioriaz? We could have a day over there, but most of the threads I've read seem to indicate it is probably not as good as Morzine/Les Gets for scenery?
Which bits of Morzine / Les Gets tend to be quietest?

Starshaped, the quietest areas are:
- Mont Chery
- around the Nyon plateau and down to the cable car
- the runs around the Perrieres lift
- the runs leading down the front of Pleney to the Atray lift.
You are missing much by staying just in Morzine, but you can do it all another time.
A "top tip" if you're out for a weekend is that a Morzine/Les Gets weekend pass is only 40 euros.

Sadly we're there Sun-Wed so will miss out on the weekend pass, but good to know.

Starshaped, if you're a high milage skier then you'll enjoy getting up to Avoriaz.
Me? Give me a quiet bit of a hill with challenging skiing; a lift with no queue and somewhere for a petit cafe or two then I'm happy. Simple chap that I am

It doesn't Knee Deep. You need an Avoriaz pass.

Knee Deep, just an Avoriaz pass. The pass covers you up Super Morzine and all the terrain from there bounded by the following lifts:
- Chaux Fleurie
- Mossettes (French side, obviously)
- Fornet
- Choucas
You can go up those lifts, but not over the top from them.
It doesn't cover you for the Swiss Wall - for which you'll need a PDS pass.
