Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

At the price quoted, it seems almost worth a punt !

Not a great looking goggle, but a good idea and the spec doesnt look too bad. Saves having to mess about with a head cam. As you say, may be worth a go at that price

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

But will it fit your helmet ?

I'd take a punt at that price, but not available (in the US) until November, so I suspect that it will be a little while before it's on sale in the UK.

Although i don't know a lot about cameras, I'd be very surprised if you could get a decent picture out of it. Maybe alright for amateur holiday snaps though i guess which at that price, is probably what it's aimed at. Can't see it replacing GoPros or Contours anytime soon though

I've got a Contour and I've not been impressed with it. It doesn't seem to be able to handle the high light levels/high contrast of sun & snow.

hi rob. i had probs with my contour at first too, and ended up cutting and fitting a sunglasses lens. seemed to work ok, then i changed some of the settings using the contour software and tweaking it a bit - worked well. have u tried that?

monotokpoint, should work well in certain circumstances as it's effectively whacking a polarising filter onto the lens. Very Happy

rob@rar, Soz rob, forgot to reply. Have a play with the Easy Edit software. Give this a try from the contour website http://support.contour.com/contour/topics/snow_settings

Astraeus, Yeah seemed to work. I used it as i didn't have my laptop with me to make the changes to the camera. Bit of tape, scissors, lenses and some patience required!
