When we moved here we tried to encourage guests to pre-pay for skis at our local sport 2000 shop... then when we got there to pick them up there was always someone else from our group hadn't reserved anything... they always seemed to get the better deal for cash!

Skis only start from 53€ per person or skis and boots from 79€ from the mighty ZigZags (www.zigzags.fr).
All the 2-4-1 and 1,000,000% off on-line deals annoy me, because they always start from some astronomical figure.

i did look at zig zags and ski republic are offering skis,boots and helmet 2-4-1 from 120 euros = 60 euros per person.

Watch the age of the skis you are getting from Ski Republic though, most of the ones on their website are at least three seasons old.
