Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Early season Keystone

I'm going to be in the states in early december and have a few days spare so was thinking about fitting in a few of days of skiing. I read somewhere that keystone is good for pre-christmas riding.

Does anyone know what conditions will like this early in the season? How much of the mountain is likely to be open?

It looks like it is due to open on 5 November, which seems incredibly early, so i'm hoping that by december they might have the majority of the lifts open. Is that a bit optimistic?

Where did you read that?

Keystone is not the best early season resorts. Breck would be a better bet.
