Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Female ski partner 26th to 2nd Jan anywhere from Geneva

Hi, I am an advanced skier (female in my 40's) looking for a ski partner over New Year - I have flights booked from East Midlands to Geneva on 26 Dec arriving 09.45 (so can meet there) until 2nd Jan. Haven't booked anything as yet but happy to go in a Chalet, Hotel or apartment & not worried about where or cost really (although preferably with enough runs to keep you going) just want to get out to the snow!!! - was wondering if there is anyone out there who also wants to get away? Solo hols are all booked up !! Kathryn

Kathrynjc2, if you don't find a partner, you could look at UCPA - good place for single skiers - you'll find plenty of other advanced skiers to ski with. Might be booked for that time now though.

As I understand it there is an age limit of 40 for the ucpa. I don't know how strictly this is enforced though.

Single guy 40's also, looking for the same week as you, though don't have flights booked, was thinking of getting a late package... but most I have seen seem to go out on the 28th
