Melting of glaciers (summer cover) is not quite the same as an end to skiing. Has there been a projection as to winter snow cover in higher resorts?

oh they say this every year, yet last year even the lowest resorts had the best year of snow fall.

Even the "good" years, though, seem to have long droughts when the snow is very sparse.

It seems to me more a shifting of when the snow falls rather than less actually falling. As a kid I remember lots of very cold and snowy christmasses in Wengen (very low), but now we seem to get lots of snow falling at Easter .... I don't know (and don't trust) the figures, but that's how it seems to me.
