Hi all - looking to do a week or more from around the 9th March too, and keen for some off piste/skinning - is there a plan, and is there room for a small one??

some details about us. as I say we will be in Chamonix from 9/3 to 16/3, I'm doing snowboarding and my friend she doing ski, our age around forty, we were did many time off piste with UCPA for example, We are fully equipped, if necessary also we have harness, we like steep place with deep powder. this season we were in La Grave and we would like to continu to do some ski from glaciers and this kind of stuff, and to find fresh powder. We don't like to walking very far, only what is necessary for to find good powder. for us is possible to join for 5-6 days to group, if there is a chance for one day to do avalanche rescue course, we would like also. So if that sounds interesting somone, let me know how to communicate.

Just trying to gauge the level of skier you all are - I'm relatively new to getting involved in proper-off piste and not sure I'm jumping in the deep end here. You all seem very experienced, I'm up for getting a guided day in -just don't want to (a) be out of my depth  and (b) want to slow anyone down.
That said, I'd be up for some group skiing on 13th and 14th March if anyone else is keen.

Hi,
I've managed to bag a weekend in Chamonix, so will be skiing full days Saturday 2 March, through to Monday 4 March 13. If anyone's up for any off-piste or wants to share the cost of a guide I'd be really interested. I'm able to ski off-piste fine, but a) don't know Chamonix, and b) I'm a bit less fit these days than I'd want to be.

The snow report looks really promising for next week. I will be Chamonix 11-14 March and looking for people to join up with. Have done season before in Cham so know my way around. Looking for people who are happy off piste although I'm not into skinning up anything. Happy to cont to a guide if there was interest.
