Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Fortunately I could do all 3...
Castleford is near mum's - can use it as a good reason to go home
Milton Keynes is near a good friends - again good excuse!
Tamworth is sort of the nearest to Bristol - so could go for that one also!!!!
Looks like May is the favourite for dates on the other thread ...

Ah, fond memories of Sheffield. I'v been there dozens of times, but not for a couple of years.
Remember watching a ten year old racer come down those black bumps with only one ski on.
Shocked

We could do two venues. From what I've heard, the Castleford dome if busy at weekends so to get our moneys worth a midweek meetup could work well.

Us "southerners" don't go passed Watford Gap! At least only at week-ends. Unfortunately most of the venues are a bit of a hike. Sad

Eh, I thought MK was in the south, Tamworth more north, and Cas a bit more north than that?

Tony Ellwood, MK is south of Watford Gap!

(Tamworth is near Birmingham, and Castleford is close to Iceland)

Castleford is closer for me, being stuck in the limbo known as Lincolnshire. I also prefer Castleford to MK because it is one big slope rather than being divided into 2.Wear The Fox Hat, isn't Iceland the place that used to be called Bejam?

Sorry ssh, , The great thing about living in the UK is that wherever we're likely to meet the furthest away anyone is going to live is only about six hours in a car....
That's probably how close your local Tesco is... Wink
However we have little or no snow... Sad

markP, Tesco? Never hoid of it!

It snowed last night. About 5" of wet, gloppy stuff on the drive this morning. Mountains got dumped on (over 2 feet at Beaver Creek!). A good start to March.

BTW, March is the month of highest snow for Colorado ski areas!

Actually the house that you see from the outside actually exists near downtown, and the walking mall is real, as well. Boulder is a really nice place to visit, and we have loved living here since '90.
