Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Right then i have been designated to organise a 2 week lads trip for end jan/feb 2011
2 intermediate boarders & 1 beginner/int boarder & maybe 1 skier Sad
So could really do with some advice on places to go!
i have done val d (loved it but christ is it expensive!), l2a (didn't think it was that great and the nightlife was dissapointing), zell (nightlife good slopes not so), saalbach (loved it), cervinia (cant remember that much so cant be that great), sauze (like the place but poor snow), kaprun, pila, adh, morzine & probably some others which fail my memory!
fancying breckenridge until i saw the lift pass prices!!! a nice from change from europe tho!

budget for flights n digs would be between £500 - £600 each, lots of terrain as its for 2 weeks unless we can do 1 week at 1 resort then another somewhere else, good nightlife & cheap prices on drinks etc always help!

Thanks

Mayrhofen. Loads to ski, Hintertux just up the road and you can visit other areas on the same ski pass, lively nightlife and much cheaper than Val d'Isere.

Have a look at La Plagne or Les Arcs? The areas are pretty big individually, and you can also upgrade your pass for a few days so that you can ski both areas .. . .

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

ady944, I don't think you'll find cheap prices on drinks (not in bars, anyway, as opposed to supermarkets) in many French resorts. There are lots of great places you haven't been to yet in Austria - sounds like it might be the way to go. Mayrhofen? That's a tight budget for two weeks. Self-catering accommodation?
