Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Youth Hostel in Mayrhofen

Thinking about taking the uni canoe club on a ski trip the first week of Easter, and being selfish I want to go to Tirol 'cos I'll stay out there the next two weeks. I've never been, but Mayrhofen sounds perfect, I want to give them the Austrian apres experience, but the group wouldn't make the most out of Anton and Saalbach is a bit too south facing for that time of year.

Any got any good reccommendations for youth hostels/any other cheap accommodation? Cheapness is the main objective, but being close to the nightlife and lifts would be a bonus too.

These apartments are cheap, comfortable and central. And available at the mo. If you aren't going for a week (sat to sat) then you would need to call them, they do rent for shorter periods, we always stay 4 nights.
