I'm not sure I'd want GB taking my son skiing (but sooner him than me )

kitenski, I think rungsp is talking about Graham Bell this time, rather than his son.

Had a couple weeks of coaching from Graham and he is a good teacher. Great to see he is still progressing through BASI and yes pretty bonkers that an Ex WC skier has to sit the Eurotest. (FIS point exemptions expire after 5 years)

why is it mad he has to do the Eurotest? if he is as good as he was he will pass, if he is as good as everyone else passing it now he will pass, I really don't see the problem of them making sure your still at or above the level required

I chatted with GB on a few lifts last week and believe he now has a Eurotest exemption, perhaps proper WC results hold more weight than sub 100 FIS.
He's on the L4 Teach now, and I expect will sail through it given his BBC quality communication skills and thorough knowledge of high level skiing. Was fun to follow him through some of the critical assessment runs last week.
