Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Number two is the current Norwegian Junior Champion, who took a couple of podiums at the World Junior Champs this year. An outstanding result from Andrew who is two years younger than him.

He must hate scotish skiers called Andrew as Mussy beat him by a massive 0.2 secs in the Norwegian National Champs Smile.

We've got some really good young skiers coming along with the two Andrews, Callum Smith, Alex Standen and Simon Platt qualified for world cups and now two ladies (Posy Musgrave and Fi Hughs) also qualified for World Cups with Sarah Young just a fis point away. A race at under 120 Fis points allows you to start in World Cups. Now all we need is some funding!

Quite a long way back from 1st and 2nd, though a fair way ahead of 4th. Very good Fis points though.

Two more races over the weekend. Andrew won the sprints on Saturday and then started second in the final handicap start race, starting 42 seconds behind the leader calculated from the time differences form the previous races. He eventually dropped back into 3rd place by what looks from the timings to have been a very close lose by a boot in a sprint to the line. Looks like there was stiff competion between Andrew and two good Norwegian juniors in the tour.

Was chatting to Andrew at training last night. For 3rd place in the junior tour prize money was 300 euros. No spot prizes for individual race wins or race places for the juniors (unlike in the senior tour). He then had to pay tax on his prize money. Entry fee for the tour was 750 euros, so a net loss after tax of 500 euros. Plus the cost of getting to and from the competition. Expensive business this racing.
