brian, Yes I'm looking west, but thought the Eiger was to the east of me (maybe I was further east than I thought). Flight was Paris CDG to Milan Linate

Patch, the Eiger is the pyramid shaped peak with the huge north face in shadow roughly in the middle, about 3/4 of the way up the photo. Pretty much unmistakable. Mont Blanc massif in the far top left corner.

Patch, Makes a change to be able to see anything . Twice now we have got to Engleberg to go up Titlis and you cat't see the cables from the CC. I'd forgotten what it looked like

Great photo. Schilthorn (James Bond's cablecar) is the breast-shaped mountain if you follow the line of the Eiger diagonally left and up.
