Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Question: Völkl Attiva Agua

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I've just returned from a ski holiday where Mrs. Kersh tried the Völkl Attiva Agua (117-72-103mm) and really liked them and would like to buy a pair (or equivalent).

Just done a quick search on the net and these skis seam to be good intermediate piste skis which sound about right for her ability. However they are 08/09 skis so on the Völkl website, they are now called something else .... probably the Oceana (http://www.volkl.com/ski/skifinder/skis/attiva-oceana.php) or maybe the Luna (http://www.volkl.com/ski/skifinder/skis/attiva-luna.php)

Can someone give me some pointers about these skis? Anyone own a pair of the Agua's? Any good? Does anyone know where I can pick up a set of the 08/09 skis and which is the equivalent 09/10 ski?

Thanks in advance

Cheers
Kersh

Kersh, may not be strictly relevant to what you're looking at but this is what my missus said about her Fuegos which are the Advanced/Expert editions of the Attiva range...

Fuegos are fabulous - the first time I went out on them, didn´t realise quite how fast they were, went base over apex and blew the seam of the trousers I was wearing!!! But now I am used to them, wouldn´t swap them for anything. They really make you work so get the most of everything. TBH, I´ve only tried them on piste as have never been much of an off piste girl but for piste they are fabulous and made short work of most of the grand massif last season! I got them new at the 2008 metro ski show so were 07-08 models massively reduced.
