Hi,
I'm thinking about going to Tignes mid to late April (for boarding).
Do any of you have experience of going at this late? Any warnings or suggestions (alternative resorts?) would be really appreciated.

Do it. It will be fine. I have skied to the car park at Val Claret on Mayday bank holiday. No better place for that time of year, except maybe Val Thorens.

It's a pity I missed that one, but there will no doubt be another time
joshua, Let me know if you do end up heading over. I want to get some off piste action in, and this will be my first time in such a big place (You know; "better safe..." and all that). I'll certainly be heading out for a few beers too.
Off to Roldal for the weekend tomorrow. Not quite Tignes, but every little helps.
