Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I went to Chamrousse with the kids in Feb, an excellent area for all the family. Some wonderful routes through the trees that all levels can enjoy.

Resort Q!! There is a British holiday company based in the vicinity although they mainly deal in cycling (summer) and cross country skiing. They were amazed to hear English being spoken there the day we went.
Chamrousse was another one we failed to make it to last season. Interesting report, thanks.

Swirly, I can't imagine that chamrousse would be your sort of thing. Much more suitable for elderly gentle skiing types like me! If it had been less cold and better viz early on I'd have stayed longer. Unfortunately when the fog started to lift a bit I was already an icicle.

Just seen the preview brochures for next season and the major TOs are offering free lift passes for everyone all season on holidays to Chamrousse. Think they were giving them this season too.
