Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi Guys
My wife and I are considering Campiglio this year. Will be our 6th year, we only manage to ski once a year, and we'll be doing ski school again to try and keep the learning/technique going.
Is there a general opinion as to the mix of skiing in Campiglio? - some good, more challenging piste stuff around? I know it's difficult when you don't know how we ski, but we'd like to push on this year and would like to have the option of getting out of the comfort zone a bit!
Thanks
Richard

I'm 5 years (and weeks) into skiing (plus another 6 week snowboarding) and I'm there for the third time next week. A lot of people on here will tell you it's not challenging, and to be fair it's not really. But if you are ok and looking to push on your technique rather than just 'managing' to get down something steeper, I think it's really good.
Personally I love the village - perfect size, pretty, enough people around to give it life but no party town, and (sorry - and I am english) not many people from the UK.
It's getting really quite extensive now with extra lifts and links to other areas in the last two years.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

One more thing, it's perfect if you like vey regular bluebird conditions on decent snow, rather than regular white-outs on great powder
