Snow Reports
FAQ
Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

First day today.
All I can say is that the conditions are just superb. The snow is in fantastic condition. There is the faintest hint of spring snow on the very flat parts at the bottom of the mountain by the lodgings, ski racks etc but that is about it.
Currently snowing tonight with snow forecast for most of the week so it looks like it will be a good week to come!!
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Got six inches overnight according to the Copper web site although it felt more in some places.
We had a glorious day of ski-ing the new powder under fabulous blue skies all day. Can't have asked for a better day.
Loads of snow forecast for the next two days!!

Bit of an old thread, but I didn't see a Copper of Summit thread for this year to post to...
This has been a below average year for the I-70 resorts, but I was out Thursday and it was great. 6" (15 cm) fresh in 24 hours and 2 feet (60 cm) of new snow for the week. Forecast looks pretty clear and temps have been warm, so the non-north facing slopes have been/will be getting baked.
