Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

San Cassiano in the Italian Dolomites might be suitable. Stayed there last season, will be running two trips there next season. Unbeatable location if ski in/out is important.

Stayed in a nice place in Gressonay. Ski in ski out, stiff red as home run deserted mid week, no night life, great off piste.

I think all of the Sella Ronda villages are pretty good for ski in/out (or very close).

laundryman, in good snow Arabba was skiable right from piste, past piste basher sheds, 25 paces down the street right to the steps into the boot room Smile Corvara, Colfosco, Selva, Arabba, San Cassiano all have ski in/out potential... or at least pretty close to being ski in-out depending on how far your hotel is from lift/piste. Campitello/Canazei not ski in/out.

rob@rar, tempted - /me frantically tries rearranging 2012 annual leave allocation to fit more holidays in...

andy, be great if you could come along. In addition to our usual half-day coaching and touring of local mountain restaurants each day, if there is enough interest we're going to add a day or two of GS training working with one of the local Maestro from the San Cassiano school. Might be a small extra fee for this, but we will have a dedicated piste to try skiing gates.

Chasseur, I think I paid about £140 with Easyjet to Venice (including ski carriage) but I booked that relatively late. You can also fly to Innsbruck (which is a bit closer, but doesn't give you the option of a day in Venice).
