Poster: A snowHead

A couple of years back, after a few breakfast beers to celebrate a birthday, we all rented blades for a laugh.
Now I have a long standing tendency (due to my stiff ankles), to be a bit in the back seat, however a day on blades proved very powerful in sorting out my posture, and I would recommend it to others with similar issues.

SMALLZOOKEEPER, I am pleased to say that after your naked colleague stuffed some large bits of cork in my boots I have no further need to stray into the light side.

In all serious i think they can be used as an aid, however how it then translates to binding position, ski length and delta angles after, mean that it's unlikely to be a direct success and may just open a can of worms leading to over thinking skiing and losing out on the simple pleasure it can be when relaxed and empty minded.

I used snowblades for 10 years when my kids were small. I had used rollerblades before so I had a headstart. I believe they taught me to carve turns. I totally agree that they are an aid to learning good tecnique.

They were great for me as a learning tool. I tried and tried to get the hang of skiing and I just couldn't so I got myself some ski boards. After a couple of weeks on them I was able to go back to full length skis and I managed just fine.
