Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just wondering anybody know if you can get cheap drinks and food in Tignes. Or are we going to get ripped of like in other french resorts? Never been before and just trying to plan ahead? Smile

if you don't want to pay high prices, don't go to high price resorts! There are plenty of others - in France and elsewhere - where prices are much more reasonable. For Tignes, some helpful suggestions in the thread mentioned above.

If you want the high quality skiing but want to keep prices low, buy your own food and drink in a supermarket. wink You can choose not to go to "rip-off" bars - no-one can rip you off unless you let them. Some resorts are well known for high prices; it defeats me why people go to them, then express shock, surprise and righteous indignation.

Laughing why don't people take the price of beer into account (if it's so important) before booking their holidays? Read the relevant threads, buy beers in a supermarket; best advice available. Cool

You can get the biggest linked ski areas in the world, or you can get cheap beers. Maybe a tad unreasonable expecting both?
